What I liked: This is a pretty average product at a pretty average price point (under $15.00). It really did give me thick, black lashes and stayed put nicely, even in the rain. My eyes can be a little sensitive sometimes, so I really appreciated the hypoallergenic qualities of the Physicians Formula brand; nothing worse than itchy mascara-covered eyes that you can't itch! I liked it but didn't love it and really wouldn't buy it again.
What I didn't like: This mascara is pretty difficult to remove. I usually alternate between using coconut oil or face wipes for cleansing and although I'm sure that oil would take the product off pretty well ,my wipes definitely did not. It's great that the mascara doesn't flake all over like others but not so great that I still seem to have black all over my lash line after taking my makeup off, as you can probably see in the before picture. Another downside is that after 2 coats lashes really start to clump. The big, awkward rubbery brush is the same width all the way down, which makes it hard to get at corner and bottom lashes without getting some mascara on your eyelids too.
Verdict: Sometimes products that have all sorts of claims leave you wondering if all the hype was to cover up a not so good product. I will definitely say that this mascara was good and made my lashes look lush and long but do I think that it will make them grow after four weeks of use like they claim it will? Not likely. I do really appreciate that this is a 44% Organic, natural, and hypoallergenic mascara, though and I think it's a great choice for super sensitive eyes. I like Physicians Formula but maybe I'll avoid their mascara.
